Personal & Family Portraits

I have a very non-traditional approach to portraiture; I rarely shoot in the studio, I prefer to photograph the client(s) in a familiar and comfortable setting, be it their home, a local park, or a favorite restaurant. I begin each session with a personal consultation to tailor fit the shoot to their needs and encourage family interaction and lightheartedness during the shoot. I have always found that this type of approach leads to a more personal and unique experience for everyone involved and adds a dynamic element that really brings the photos to life.
